Job summary

Flip retail is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our team in Dubai. You will assist senior chefs, prepare foods and pastries, manage leftovers, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen in line with DXBlends standards.

The role requires 1-2 years in hot kitchen and bread areas, strong English communication, and the ability to work under pressure. Cooking diploma is considered an asset. This is a permanent, full-time position with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Experience in customer care.
• 1-2 years cooking experience in Hot Kitchen and Bread area.
• Ability to follow instructions under pressure.
• Cooking diploma/degree is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer complaints about product quality.
• Engage with clients to obtain feedback on items.
• Daily prep in food and patisserie per DXBlends standards.
• Prepare and plate pastries, cakes, sandwiches and breads.
• Maintain prep list and station duties.
• Ensure hygiene and safety in kitchen per standards.
