Role Overview:

As an Assistant Buyer for Private Label in the Footwear, Bags & Accessories (FBA) category, you will support the buying team in curating trend-forward assortments that align with Namshi’s brand identity and customer preferences. This role requires a blend of creative insight and operational coordination to ensure Namshi’s private label offering remains competitive, well-assorted, and relevant to our customers in the region.

What you'll do:

• Support the buying team in sourcing and selecting products in the FBA category.
• Collaborate with regional and international suppliers to manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in planning replenishments based on performance and forecasts.
• Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and assortment opportunities.
• Assist in analyzing sales data and customer insights to support buying decisions and product strategy.
• Ensure product and vendor information is accurate and up to date across all systems.
• Liaise with planning, merchandising, and content teams to align product launches with marketing campaigns and seasonal drops.
• Work with the visual merchandising and creative teams to elevate product presentation onsite.
• Provide administrative support including report generation, meeting preparation, and KPI tracking.
• Help manage supplier relationships and assist in negotiating costs, delivery timelines, and resolving supply chain issues.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in buying, merchandising, or retail; experience in FBA or accessories is a plus.
• Strong interest in fashion and awareness of trends in footwear, bags, and accessories.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales trends and translate them into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with inventory/order management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• A proactive attitude and enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail environment.
