As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for following established processes to provide day-to-day support necessary to ensure the delivery of operational targets.

About the job

• Deliver high-quality standard accounting tasks in a timely fashion, based on support and coaching from a manager or senior team members. Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting models, tools, and principles.
• Contribute to various standard tasks that are well-described.
• Perform accounting tasks efficiently and timely, with support from senior team members.
• Run standard ERP reports and analyze data to identify underlying reasons and explanations.
• Prepare documentation, reporting, and analysis for audits based on directions from managers or senior team members.

The candidate should have:

• A relevant academic background, confirmed with a BA or MA degree.
• Approximately 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in finance or accounting.
• Experience from a shared services organization or a major company is a prerequisite.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• People skills, technical skills, financial understanding, planning, forecasting & scheduling, communication skills, cooperation, initiative, and customer focus.
