Job Duties and Qualifications

• Accountable for the evaluation, assessment, and management of the integrated activities and processes to appraise, develop, and produce oil and gas fields.
  • Scope includes the full integrated production system from reservoir performance, through the wellbore, to surface facilities and custody transfer.
• Must possess a broad understanding of value drivers, risks, and uncertainties across the entire chain from field assessment to hydrocarbon monetization.
• Must excel at collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, subject matter experts, and clients to maximize asset value and positively influence outcomes through both influence and authority.
• Individual contributor with potential to lead multi-disciplinary asset teams throughout the project lifecycle for large-scale oil and gas projects:
  • Screening, evaluation, approval, planning, deployment, execution, operation, and close-out.
• Responsible for the financial performance (P/L) of assigned assets through effective planning, resource management, decision-making, and application of value-adding processes and technologies.
  • This role directly impacts the viability and quality of service of a revenue center.
  • Contributes to value creation through cost optimization, technical innovation, increased production, and improved hydrocarbon recovery.
• Serves as the primary interface with partners for project operations and represents the company in technical and commercial matters.
• Ensures the technical quality of work under supervision and administers contract provisions related to work execution.
• Requires an undergraduate degree in engineering and a minimum of 15 years of diverse experience in exploration and production, including 5 years with an operator.
• Registration as a licensed or chartered professional engineer is preferred.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.
