Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an assembly technician to join its manufacturing team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on assembling plastic and mechanical components according to engineering drawings and BOMs, while maintaining quality and adherence to work instructions.

You will inspect finished products, report issues and suggestions for process improvements, and ensure tools and workstations are kept safe and organized in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical or plastic assembly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic and mechanical components per drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Install fasteners, inserts, adhesives and hardware using appropriate tools.
• Inspect products for dimensional accuracy, fit, finish and function.
• Report issues and defect components to engineering and production teams.
• Maintain tools, workstations and production records per safety and quality standards.

Job description

• Assemble plastic and mechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings bills of materials and approved work instructions.
• Install fasteners inserts adhesives and other hardware using the appropriate tools equipment and assembly techniques.
• Inspect completed products for dimensional accuracy proper fit finish functionality and overall quality.
• Report assembly issues defective components and process-improvement opportunities to the engineering and production teams.
• Maintain tools workstations and production records while adhering to established safety and quality standards.

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Previous experience in mechanical or plastic product assembly is preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
