Job summary

Streit Group FZ - LLC is seeking an experienced drone assembly technician in Ras al-Khaimah to join our production team. You will assemble airframes, landing systems and mechanical assemblies, install motors, batteries, wiring harnesses and electronic components as per drawings, and perform basic electrical and mechanical integration.

The role requires 2–5 years in drone/UAV or related fields, the ability to read drawings, and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aeronautical or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in drone/UAV, RC aircraft, electronics, automotive, aerospace or precision mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, connectors, wiring and basic electrical testing.
• Experience with UAV/drone assembly or integration will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and production teams during prototype assembly, modification and testing.
• Identify assembly defects and report them to supervisor/engineer.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and fixtures safely.
• Maintain accurate assembly inspection and testing records.
• Ensure work meets company quality, safety and EHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble drone airframes structural components landing systems and other mechanical assemblies
• Install motors propellers batteries wiring harnesses connectors and electronic components as per technical drawings
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical integration of flight-control and onboard systems
• Carry out component inspection and verify correct fitment alignment torque and connections
• Conduct functional checks and pre-test inspections on completed drone assemblies
• Support engineering and production teams during prototype assembly modification and testing
• Identify assembly defects damaged components wiring issues or other abnormalities and report them to the supervisor engineer
• Use hand tools power tools measuring instruments and assembly fixtures safely and correctly
• Maintain accurate assembly inspection and testing records
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company quality safety and EHS requirements
• Maintain a clean organized and controlled assembly workstation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve assembly quality productivity and reliability
• Follow all applicable company procedures relating to confidentiality security and controlled technical information

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Good knowledge of hand tools, power tools, connectors, wiring and basic electrical testing.
• Basic understanding of motors, batteries, ESCs, sensors and electronic components.
• Experience with UAV/drone assembly or integration will be an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with precision components.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary production team.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in UAV assembly, RC aircraft, aerospace manufacturing, automotive electrical systems, robotics, mechatronics or electronics manufacturing will be preferred.
