Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled composites technician to support prepreg lamination, lay-up, wet lamination and vacuum infusion per engineering drawings. You will trim, sand, fill and fairing, and operate hand tools and workshop machines safely to drive production.

The role covers bonding, testing, integration with electrical or hydraulic components during prototyping, maintaining documentation and adhering to safety standards; UAE/Middle East experience is desirable and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a technician role in composites production.
• Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform prepreg lamination, lay-up, wet lamination and vacuum infusion as per drawings.
• Conduct trimming, sanding, filling and fairing with power/hand tools.
• Operate hand tools and workshop machines safely to support production.
• Bond, test fit, adjust, and troubleshoot complex composite assemblies during prototyping.
• Maintain tools, workstations, and safety housekeeping standards.
• Set up equipment, perform cleaning and maintenance per SOP.
• Maintain assembly documentation and inspection records.
• Assist in integration and testing with electrical or hydraulic components.

Job description

• Perform all composite lamination duties required for prepreg, Lay-up, wet lamination and vacuum infusion processes based on engineering drawings and instructions

• Conduct trimming, sanding, filling and fairing activities using power tools and hand measurements where required.

• Operate hand tools and workshop machines in a safe and efficient manner to support production

• Conduct bonding, test fitting, adjustment, and troubleshooting of complex composite assemblies during prototyping.

• Ensure tools and workstations are maintained and follow safety and housekeeping standards.

• Perform equipment set up, operation, cleaning and maintenance tasks in accordance with standard operating

procedures

• Maintain assembly documentation, inspection records, and feedback reports.

Assist in integration and testing of composite assemblies and systems with electrical or hydraulic components, as required.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in technician role in composites production work environment

• Experience in UAE or Middle East is desirable
