Job Requirements

As a Field Electronic Technician, you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.

You will be responsible for:

1. Testing and evaluating the performance of electronic and instrumentation equipment, and repairing test equipment if required.
2. Reviewing the accuracy of procedures for the assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configuring electronic sensors and devices.
3. Troubleshooting data acquisition and control systems.
4. Assisting with the installation and configuration of instrumentation systems, sensors, and accessories.

Work Experience

• Having a Bachelor's degree, Technical diploma, or Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.
• 1-2 years of experience in maintenance of electronic or instrumentation equipment.
• Ability to identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
