Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is the beating heart of our work. We collaborate with development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools.

As a Field Electronic Technician, you will troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Testing, evaluating performance, and repairing oilfield electronic and instrumentation equipment and test equipment as required.
  • Reviewing procedures for assembly/disassembly and checkout of instrumentation, and configuring electronic sensors and devices.
  • Troubleshooting data acquisition and control systems.
  • Assisting with installation and configuration of instrumentation systems, sensors, and accessories.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Possess a Technical Diploma or Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.
  • Have 1-2 years of maintenance experience with electronic or instrumentation equipment (preferred).
  • Be able to identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Have knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
