Job summary

A leading firm in the energy sector located in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assembly Technician to support daily operations in assembling and testing Surface Wellheads & Trees. Candidates should have a Trade certificate or Diploma and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • API 6A knowledge is an advantage.
  • Must be physically fit and able to work shifts.

Job Purpose
  • Support daily operations by performing assembly and testing of Surface Wellheads & Trees as well as PCS jobs.
Responsibilities
  • Adheres to all work processes, assembly and testing procedures. Preparation and upkeep of procedures throughout the process of assembly and FAT. Supporting and carry out assembly/testing activities across work cells.
  • Maintaining and storing all the records as per the procedures and requirements. Preparation and conducting Final Inspection products.
  • Able to operate and handle Assembly & test equipment (Pneumatic, electrical & hydraulic tools and pumps, DAQ, automated system & HPU). Ability to use laptop, tablets and other electronic devices in carrying out daily activities.
  • Ability to comprehend work instructions, procedures and engineering blueprints, with some mechanical experience is necessary.
  • Input labor hours accurately into Labor Tracking System (MES & Inteserv).
Qualifications
  • Trade certificate or Diploma in any Mechanical, fitting, automotive or relevant.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of assembling or pressure testing working experience and have a strong aptitude for continuous improvement.
  • API 6A knowledge on wellhead products is an additional advantage.
  • Physically fit without any major medical condition.
  • Able to rotate shift on a monthly basis.
