Job summary

Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is recruiting a full-time Commis Chef to join our culinary team. You will assist the Senior Chef with daily food preparation, mise-en-place, and maintaining high standards in a busy hotel kitchen.

Ideally you have 1–2 years of experience in a four- or five-star hotel, thrive in a multicultural team, and are committed to quality, hygiene, and timely service. We offer opportunities to grow with a world‑renowned hospitality family.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a four- or five-star hotel or comparable industry.
• Ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area hygienic at all times according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in your section.
• Prepare the daily mise-en-place and food production in main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from immediate superiors to complete tasks.
• Ensure high standards and consistent quality; stay updated with new products and techniques.
