Job Description

This position requires a candidate with a Diploma in Construction Technology and a Bachelor of Technology/Engineering in Civil. The candidate should be of Indian, Jordanian, Algerian, Filipino nationality, or any nationality.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Asphalt Testing: Conduct tests on asphalt samples to determine properties such as viscosity, density, gradation, and moisture content. Perform hot mix asphalt (HMA) testing to evaluate quality and performance. Carry out compaction tests and ensure compliance with standards. Prepare and submit test reports with recommendations.
  2. Soil Testing: Collect soil samples for analysis of composition, moisture, density, and compaction. Conduct tests like the Proctor test and soil classification. Assess soil stability and suitability. Maintain detailed records.
  3. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure testing procedures meet regulations and standards. Calibrate equipment, report irregularities, and collaborate with engineers for improvements.
  4. Fieldwork & Sample Collection: Travel to construction sites for sample collection and inspections. Document site conditions accurately.
  5. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports and maintain organized records. Communicate findings effectively with team members and clients.

This is a full-time position in the Oil & Gas industry, within the Geotechnical department, involving geologists. The key skills include density testing, laboratory testing, and determining compaction characteristics.
