Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with a Major/Minor in Art or Visual Arts
Alberta Interim or Permanent Professional Certification (mandatory)
Open to new graduates with a strong commitment to student success
Strong, positive interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a professional learning community
Willingness to contribute to extracurricular programs, including art clubs, exhibitions, or community art projects
Open-minded, adaptable, and enthusiastic about the opportunities and challenges of teaching in an international setting
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and standards-aligned Art instruction to students in Grades 7 12
Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that supports artistic growth and self-expression
Organize student art shows, projects, and school-wide exhibitions
Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate the arts across the curriculum
Participate actively in school events, staff development, and extracurricular activities
The contract includes:
4.5 Day Working Week
