Nibras International School is seeking a qualified Art Teacher to join the team in August 2025. Job Purpose:
- Set high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils: Establish a safe, respectful, and stimulating environment; set challenging goals; demonstrate positive attitudes and values.
- Promote positive progress and outcomes: Focus on pupils' attainment and progress; understand pupils' capabilities; encourage self-reflection; understand how pupils learn; foster responsible study habits.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge: Maintain knowledge of relevant curriculum areas; promote interest; stay updated on developments; support literacy and numeracy skills; understand phonics and teaching strategies.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons: Use effective teaching methods; foster curiosity; assign homework and activities; reflect on teaching effectiveness; contribute to curriculum design.
- Differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs: Use appropriate approaches; understand barriers to learning; support pupils' development stages; cater to special educational needs, high ability, EAL, and disabilities.
- Use assessment effectively: Assess curriculum areas; utilize formative and summative assessments; analyze data; provide feedback.
- Manage behaviour: Establish rules; promote good behaviour; use discipline strategies; maintain positive relationships; exercise authority when needed.

- Contribute to curriculum development, embedding UAE culture.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Art or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
- Knowledge of American/International curriculum.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Team player with classroom management skills.
