Job Purpose
The Art Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and creative art lessons in line with the British Curriculum standards for Year 5, 6, and 7 students. The teacher will foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons aligned with the British Curriculum.
- Encourage students’ creativity, imagination, and self-expression through various art forms and techniques.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student portfolios and assessment records.
- Organize classroom displays, exhibitions, and art-related activities.
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of all students.
- Integrate health and safety practices while handling art materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Support the school’s vision, mission, and values.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education (Mandatory)
- Teaching qualification/license.
- Experience teaching the British Curriculum is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students creatively.
