Why this role exists

Justlife is scaling fast across the UAE & KSA, and our brand needs a creative owner — not just another pair of hands. We’re hiring an Art Director to take creative direction across our highest‑volume channels, raise the bar on quality, and make the whole team faster and sharper. You’ll ship a lot, and you’ll decide what good looks like.

You’ll report to the Creative Marketing Manager and work across campaigns, CRM, social, performance ads, in‑app communication, and brand touchpoints. This role moves fast and ships at volume – throughput is a core expectation – but we hire people who treat speed and craft as the same discipline, not a trade‑off.

What you’ll own

• Set and execute visual direction for marketing assets across all channels – owning the work from brief to final delivery.
• Drive high throughput: handle the majority of day‑to‑day design demand while keeping quality consistently high and turnaround fast.
• Use AI tools confidently across research, concept development, image generation, asset creation, and production efficiency – and help the team get better at it.
• Bring ideas, references, and visual directions proactively; improve briefs instead of waiting for instructions.
• Partner closely with marketing, product, and other teams to translate needs into clear, on‑brand visual solutions.
• Own and protect brand consistency across every touchpoint.
• Raise the team’s craft – through your standards, your feedback, and how you work.

• You handle most day‑to‑day design demand independently, delivering high‑quality work on time and at volume.
• You know the Justlife brand, campaign formats, and design standards cold, and apply them confidently across channels.
• You use AI tools effectively to increase both speed and creative range.

• You’re shaping creative direction – bringing references, sharper directions, and better briefs – not just executing.

Must‑haves

• A strong portfolio showing visual design, campaign work, social content, and brand communication – ideally at volume and pace.
• 5–7 years of relevant design experience.
• Strong design eye: layout, typography, composition, branding, and visual consistency.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Comfortable using AI tools across research, ideation, image generation, asset creation, and workflow efficiency.
• Proven ability to own design tasks end‑to‑end with minimal supervision and deliver high quality at high volume.
• Good English: you understand briefs, ask the right questions, and explain design decisions clearly.
• Proactive, coachable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, visual communication, or a related field preferred (portfolio outweighs formal education).

Nice‑to‑haves

• Motion graphics or basic animation for social, CRM, and campaign assets.
• Strong grasp of social formats, trends, and platform needs.
• Video editing, motion templates, or adapting statics into animated formats.
• Background in agency, startup, e‑commerce, marketplace, or other fast‑moving marketing environments.

You’ll be assessed primarily on your portfolio, a structured case study, and your panel presentation.
