Job description

1. Visual Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with the brand identity and objectives across all stores within the area.

2. Guidelines and Standards: Ensure consistent application of visual merchandising guidelines, standards, and brand aesthetics across multiple locations.

3. Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and support to store visual merchandising teams to ensure they understand and effectively execute visual merchandising concepts and techniques.

4. Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess the visual merchandising execution in each store, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

5. Communication: Serve as a liaison between the corporate visual merchandising team and store management to convey guidelines, updates, and feedback effectively.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with store managers, district managers, and other relevant stakeholders to understand store-specific needs, challenges, and opportunities, and tailor visual merchandising strategies accordingly.

7. Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory management teams to ensure that merchandise is effectively displayed and promoted to maximize sales and minimize excess inventory.

8. Promotional Campaigns: Coordinate the implementation of promotional campaigns and initiatives, ensuring that visual merchandising supports and enhances the messaging and objectives of each campaign.

9. Market Research: Stay informed about local market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt visual merchandising strategies and capitalize on opportunities.

10. Performance Analysis: Analyze the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives, using data and feedback to evaluate their impact on sales, customer experience, and brand perception.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in visual merchandising, with at least 1–2 years in a multi-store or area-level role.
  • Previous experience in fashion retail, ideally within a fast-paced, youth-oriented brand like Cotton On
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
