Area Supervisor is responsible for providing an inspection regime to monitor and audit activities for compliance with the soft services contract SLA/KPI requirements, as well as guidance to achieve the required standards.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensuring the service providers are providing adequate equipment and that it is in good condition.
  2. Overseeing correct storage and safekeeping of the service providers' equipment.
  3. Ensuring service providers' manpower is competent and wearing proper safety gear and uniforms.
  4. Monitoring the service providers' team members to ensure the highest degree of end-user satisfaction.
  5. Conducting pre-event inspections of all rooms, concourses, clubs, seating areas, and public areas prior to gate opening.
  6. Ensuring service providers uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
  7. Managing the daily activities of the service providers, including street sweeping and cleaning of all districts.
  8. Investigating complaints regarding cleaning service and equipment and taking corrective action.
  9. Developing and implementing service delivery standards and ensuring compliance.
  10. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of service providers and contractors.
  11. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
  12. Serving as the primary point of contact for soft services-related issues.
  13. Tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective service delivery without compromising quality.
  14. Conducting regular performance reviews and audits of vendors.
  15. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  16. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance service delivery.
  17. Utilizing technology and innovative solutions to optimize soft services.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
  1. Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in waste management.
  3. Experience in facility management is an added advantage.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Valid UAE driving license.
