Job description

Title:

Area Superintendent/Maintenance Head

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure daily maintenance activities (corrective, preventive, and predictive for mechanical, I/E, and rotating equipment) at the refinery are carried out by the Contractor in compliance with safety, environment, and quality standards to ensure sector availability, reliability, and operational continuity.
  2. Execute all maintenance jobs assigned to the contractor related to mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation of the refinery plant according to Company standards.
  3. Maintain regular reporting in the CMMS system regarding maintenance execution at SATORP's Plant.
  4. Provide support to planning and scheduling supervisors.
  5. Assist the company's reliability department in bad actor analysis.
  6. Prepare weekly reports and discuss them in maintenance meetings.
  7. Review and enhance personnel knowledge through job-specific training in coordination with the Head of HR.
  8. Ensure safety requirements are followed and adhered to during job execution.
Qualifications:
  • University-level engineering degree with experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a refining environment or equivalent training and experience.
  • Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering is preferred.
  • At least 12 years of experience working with a refinery plant.
  • Good knowledge of refining equipment, team management, maintenance contract management, and safety regulations.
  • Well-organized, proactive, with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills in large organizations.
  • Mature judgment under pressure with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker, open to new ideas.
  • Ability to achieve business results in a multicultural environment.
