A leading company is seeking an Area Sales Manager for the Fire Suppression team in the Middle East & Africa region. The role focuses on enhancing market presence and business growth through partnerships, strategic planning, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant engineering degree and extensive sales experience, excelling in building key customer relationships.
What you will do
The Area Sales Manager role is a key position reporting to the Territory Sales Director for the Middle East & Africa. You will be part of the Fire Suppression team, working to improve Tyco's market position, achieve financial growth, define long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and find potential new customers in the Saudi Arabian region.
You will be based in Riyadh or Jeddah, focusing on existing distributor channels, opening new accounts, and developing strategic plans to increase sales volume. You will operate within the Indirect Products Distribution through channel partners, collaborating with sales teams, contractors, consultants, and customers to promote business growth and increase sales opportunities to maximize revenue. As a team member, you will work in a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to leverage your experience to meet our business objectives for the Middle East and Africa region.
How you will do it
As an Area Sales Manager, you will utilize your technical expertise in Fire Suppression products to generate new channel accounts, forecast, and develop annual sales plans, explore market opportunities, and implement strategies to maximize margins while increasing market share. Your focus will be on building relationships with key partners and customers, supporting sales activities, and following up on new business opportunities with channel partners.
Since approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to demand creation, you will work with engineering influencers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), and end users/owners as required.
You will also prepare regular reports by collecting and analyzing quantitative data on market trends, competitive landscape, product gaps versus market demands, sales growth, customer satisfaction, and go-to-market strategies.
