Area Sales Manager (Consumer)

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the market, establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base. Supervising sales team and providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the assigned territory to ensure the achievement of company sales goals and profitability.
2. Responsible for Sales Target setting by Brand, Accounts & sales team members to ensure that all the team have clear targets & objectives.
3. Control the trade spend to meet allocated budget and follows guidelines.
4. Manage Rebate agreement with Retailers & ensure profitable Volume growth per account.
5. Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team and provides timely feedback to improve their performance.
6. Ensure Products listing & Distribution on time & in line with Brand Principal Direction to gain more market share.
7. Execute all related activities of marketing plans to achieve sales growth and planned targets.
8. Conduct one-to-one reviews meeting with all the team members to provide feedback on performance, sharing development plans needed and Support the team in solving obstacles.
9. Work closely with Operation team to secure the orders processes and deliveries for the orders in Hand to the market.
10. Set the correct credit limit per account and ensure collection on time with reducing the overdue.
11. Control Stock Ageing in order to adhere to company policy.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

1. Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent relevant experience.
2. Preferably 4-5 years’ experience in sales management.
3. Strong leadership, coaching capabilities, team building and presentation skills.
4. Negotiation Skills, Customer relationship management and analytical skills.
