Job description
To conduct and manage sales within the UAE for the allocated customer base.
To meet & exceed sales budgets set out by continuously expanding market share through direct sales and to improve margin contribution.
Responsibilities
- Manage & conduct sales as per the company’s business plan with the allocated customer base, aligning with set targets, objectives, and authority limits.
- Expand the customer base, identify new market entry strategies, examine profitability of each customer, and enhance return on investment.
- Produce monthly reports on past performance against budgets and future plans for product development; report on competition, key market information, and customer complaints.
- Build relationships with customers and potential business partners to promote Al Gurg Fosroc and its products.
- Contribute to the company's sales plan by reviewing performance and exploring potential growth opportunities.
- Review case histories weekly with departmental staff and line managers, discuss projects, support required, and ensure proper documentation.
- Achieve revenue and contribution targets; take necessary actions in case of deviations from the budget.
- Manage all pricing within the company's authority limits.
- Coordinate between Production and Customer Services Teams to ensure customer needs are understood and met.
- Forecast demand in terms of product, volume, and quantities monthly; report to line manager.
- Implement the Market Intelligence system for the region.
- Coordinate between Sales and Accounts departments to keep debtors' days within company limits.
- Utilize time management effectively to ensure sufficient market coverage.
Skills required
- 5-8 years of experience in construction chemicals.
- Product and technical knowledge.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Numerate with strong analytical skills.
Educational requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
