Are you ready to champion exceptional customer service Amazon style?
Are you up for creating solutions and solving tomorrow's problems today?
Then we have an opportunity just for you!
We're seeking an Area Manager to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center. Our Fulfillment Centers are at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing operations network: they manage our fast-moving inventory and develop industry-leading workflows. Our teams handle tasks such as stowing deliveries, picking products, packaging, and shipping — each playing a crucial role in our success.
In these facilities, we're building the future of customer service as we work towards becoming Earth's most customer-centric company. This is your chance to make history with us.
About the role and responsibilities:
You will be responsible as a manager for one of the main teams in your FC: receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship. Along with your peers, you'll ensure all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
In the logistics team, you will lead a team of approximately 80 to 120 associates. You will drive training, integration, motivation, and inspire progress. You will exercise sound judgment to achieve progress and meet KPI targets.
While doing so, you will ensure motivation, engagement, and performance by:

  • Safeguarding your team's safety and promoting Amazon's health and safety standards
  • Leading cross-functional teams to solve operational problems
  • Upholding Amazon's high standards of process quality
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy
  • Striving to improve and streamline processes
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on larger FC processes and activities
  • Sharing and promoting best practices with colleagues and your network

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • At least 1 year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
