Job summary

Imdaad Group is seeking an experienced Area Manager – Soft Services in Dubai to lead and coordinate cleaning operatives, ensuring high service levels and safety compliance. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a track record in facilities management or hospitality management, with 5–6 years of supervisory experience. Middle East experience preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant industry experience with supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree, further qualifications, or professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of business operations within Facilities Management and/or cleaning industry.
• Exposure to business development, strategic planning, client relationship management and customer service.

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager – Soft Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate teams of full-time cleaning operatives while maintaining service standards, aesthetics and minimizing operational disruption.
• Review scope of works, estimates, budgets and schedules to ensure alignment with job costs and timelines.
• Organize and manage team workloads to ensure effective distribution of work.
• Identify and anticipate client/customer requirements through regular meetings and site visits.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, subcontractors and clients to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure cleaning teams consistently perform to the standards required by clients.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Liaise with Contract Managers/Administrators and effectively address operational issues and client complaints.
• Prepare reports, maintain records and ensure cleaning activities are carried out in accordance with ISO and BICSc standards.
• Support day-to-day business operations, procurement coordination and supplier follow-up.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Facilities Management or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant industry experience, with supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree, further qualifications, relevant courses or professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of business operations within the Facilities Management and/or cleaning industry.
• Exposure to business development, strategic planning, client relationship management and customer service.
• Strong leadership, people management and team management capabilities.
• Good knowledge of planned periodic maintenance, staff management, asset life cycles and maintenance scheduling.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations, including the safe use of hazardous chemicals.
• Good computer literacy, including MS Office and Maximo System.
• Good knowledge of various types of cleaning machines.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages will be an advantage.
• Middle East experience preferred but not essential.
