Job summary

Penspen International Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced senior inspector to oversee architectural works on oil and gas projects. You will verify materials, review submittals, and report defects. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering, 10+ years in oil & gas, familiarity with UAE regulations, and proven coordination across contractors.

UAE/GCC experience is mandatory. This role requires strong communication and documentation skills and supports final inspections

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, industrial and structural.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and authority procedures is highly preferred.
• Previous UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect architectural works, including blockwork, plastering, flooring, ceilings, painting, waterproofing, doors, and windows.
• Verify materials and workmanship against approved submittals and specifications.
• Review inspection requests and report defects or non-compliant work.
• Coordinate with contractors and other engineering disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Maintain inspection records, prepare snag lists, and verify corrective actions.
• Support final inspections and project handover.
