Architectural Project Manager

The Architectural Project Manager will oversee the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with client requirements, UAE building codes, and municipal regulations. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and monitoring timelines and budgets. The manager plays a central role in ensuring design integrity, quality standards, and client satisfaction across commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading architectural design projects from initial concept to construction documentation and project delivery.
2. Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to align design objectives, schedules, and construction feasibility.
3. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring milestones are met in accordance with UAE regulations.
4. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure design intent, code compliance, and constructability.
5. Overseeing the preparation and submission of documents for approvals from UAE municipalities and relevant authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, ADM).
6. Managing RFIs, change orders, and site queries during the construction phase to resolve design-related issues efficiently.
7. Ensuring all architectural outputs maintain a high standard of quality, sustainability, and functionality.
8. Mentoring junior architects and designers, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture; a master's degree and professional registration (e.g., SOE or Dubai Municipality license) are preferred.
2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in architectural project management, including experience on UAE-based projects.
3. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, local authority approval processes, and construction practices.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
5. Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills to manage diverse project teams and stakeholders.
6. Proven track record of delivering complex architectural projects on time and within budget.
7. Understanding of sustainability standards (e.g., Estidama, LEED) applicable to UAE developments.
8. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage for liaising with local authorities.
