Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology is seeking an experienced architectural model maker to build high-quality physical representations for design teams in Dubai. You will interpret plans, operate laser cutters, CNC machines, and 3D printers, and collaborate closely with architects and project managers to meet tight deadlines.

The role requires precise finishing, attention to detail, and the ability to advance prototypes while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

Experience in architectural model making or related field.
Ability to read architectural drawings and 3D models.
Proficiency with laser cutters, hand tools, and 3D printers.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or SketchUp.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a team.

Responsibilities

Build high-quality architectural scale models using materials such as acrylic, wood, cardboard, foam, resin, and 3D-printed components.
Interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, and CAD files to create accurate physical representations.
Operate hand tools, laser cutters, CNC machines, and 3D printers to fabricate parts.
Assemble and finish models with precision, including sanding, painting, and applying surface treatments.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand design intent and timelines.
Assist in developing prototypes and mock-ups.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
