Job summary

Ali & Sons Group is seeking an Architecture Engineer to develop, review, and coordinate architectural design deliverables for complex projects. You will prepare design inputs, verify designs, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure alignment with standards and quality expectations.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree in architecture or civil engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience, with strong AutoCAD and 3D design software skills.

Are you an experienced Architecture Engineer with a passion for design excellence and engineering innovation? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Design & Engineering team, where you will play a key role in developing, reviewing, and coordinating architectural design deliverables for complex engineering projects. If you have strong technical expertise and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design requests, design input documents, and design change notes for in-house and subcontracted design activities.
• Review design and development documents prepared internally, by subcontractors, or by clients before issuing them for approval and construction.
• Prepare design verification, design input review, and design output review documents as required for projects.
• Coordinate effectively with clients through the Project Manager and with design subcontractors on all design and development matters.
• Maintain and update Design & Development document control sheets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to submit design documents and incorporate comments received from classification societies and third-party agencies.
• Prepare and arrange documentation required for material approvals and technical bid evaluations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, classification societies, and third-party agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
• Support the successful delivery of projects by ensuring compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture engineering or civil engineering.
• Technical Qualification: Hands-on experience with architectural design software, construction materials, and construction detailing.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with 8–12 years preferred in architectural engineering and design.
• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design software, engineering design software, and Microsoft Office.
• Skills & Abilities: Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, design documentation, technical coordination, and engineering standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Language: Good command of English.
