Job description

Our Engineering department is seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will create precise technical drawings and drafts according to specifications and building requirements. You will collaborate closely with engineers and architects, submit drafts for review, and revise designs based on feedback to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create technical drawings based on specifications and engineering calculations.
• Use CAD software and 3D modeling tools to develop rough sketches and detailed designs.
• Liaise with Engineers and MEP teams to understand and incorporate technical requirements.
• Submit drafts to the engineering team for review and implement revisions as required.
• Ensure final designs adhere to industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Detect and document errors or discrepancies in technical designs.
• Prepare user manuals detailing product features, operations, and maintenance.
• Manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Draftsman or Drafter within an engineering environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as TinkerCAD, Fusion 360°, SolidWorks, and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong technical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
