PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
An Architectural BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for architectural designs ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project requirements. Their role is crucial in translating design concepts into detailed, data-rich 3D models, facilitating collaboration among project stakeholders and optimizing the design-to-construction workflow.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop 3D BIM models using industry-leading software such as Revit based on project requirements.
• Create and manage BIM families, components, and templates.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and coordination of BIM models across all disciplines.
• Incorporate design changes and updates into the BIM models as directed by project teams.
• Assist in resolving clashes by coordinating with other disciplines and making necessary adjustments to the BIM models.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve clashes and coordinate design elements.
• Participate in regular coordination meetings and interdisciplinary workshops to address clashes and conflicts.
• Generate accurate and high-quality 2D drawings and documentation from the BIM models.
• Ensure consistency and adherence to project standards in the extracted drawings.
• Review and verify the accuracy of extracted drawings before submission.
• Adhere to established BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines for BIM modeling and coordination.
• Collaborate with the BIM team to develop and enhance BIM workflows and processes.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Communicate BIM-related information and updates to project stakeholders.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD.
• Solid understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and processes.
• Ability to create and modify 3D models based on design documents and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and willingness to adapt to new software and technologies.
