Job summary

A leading company in the IT and Software Services industry is seeking an Architectural and Structural Draftsman to prepare detailed drawings and coordinate with various teams. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the UAE. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and familiarity with Revit is a plus. This role requires strong knowledge of construction methods and drafting standards.

Qualifications

Job description

• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings, layouts, sections, and shop drawings in compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and site conditions.
• Modify and revise drawings based on comments from consultants, engineers, or construction teams.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to local authority regulations, project standards, and company quality guidelines.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project closeout.
• Maintain organized documentation and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in contracting companies in the UAE/GCC.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit or other drafting software is an advantage.
