Job summary

Skills Hub in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Architect to lead architectural design for residential and villa projects from concept to handover.

You will prepare drawings, coordinate with consultants, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and supervise on-site construction to ensure designs are realized. The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture, UAE licensure, 3-5 years UAE experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Strong communication and driving license essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 3-5 years UAE experience in residential, villa, or home-development projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Valid UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, detailed designs, and construction drawings.
• Prepare architectural layouts, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
• Coordinate architectural designs with Civil, Structural, Electrical, MEP, and other consultants.
• Review drawings and identify design conflicts before construction.
• Prepare drawings and documents for submission to relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with Municipality, ADM, DM, Trakhees, or other applicable authorities.
• Attend authority meetings and address technical comments.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction follows approved designs.
• Review contractor/shop drawings and material submissions.
• Coordinate design revisions with clients and consultants.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Monitor design-related issues and provide practical site solutions.
• Maintain proper architectural documentation and revision control.

Job Purpose
