Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate ARC welding equipment, ensuring that all tools are calibrated for precision work.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
• Select appropriate welding materials, including rods and wires, based on the specific project needs.
• Perform welding tasks on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and other metals, to create strong, durable joints.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to safety standards, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored safely after use.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues on-site.
• Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to minimize hazards during welding operations.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest welding techniques and industry standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; additional technical training in welding is preferred.
• Certification in ARC welding from a recognized institution is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is required.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints is essential.
• Ability to operate various welding machines and tools, including automatic and semi-automatic equipment.
