Job summary

GEMS Founders School - Al Mizhar seeks an experienced Arabic teacher to plan and deliver lessons aligned with MOE standards. You will design student-centered activities, differentiate for mixed-ability classes, assess progress, and maintain thorough documentation for inspections.

The role requires bilingual communication in Arabic and English, collaboration with colleagues and parents, and a commitment to professional development and UAE cultural values.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic and English and able to communicate with parents and staff in both languages.
• Ability to translate curriculum expectations across languages.
• Strong classroom communication and engagement skills.
• Comfort with differentiating instruction for mixed-ability groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered Arabic lessons aligned with MOE standards.
• Differentiate teaching methods for native and non-native learners, including SEN and EAL considerations.
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments and track progress.
• Maintain a positive, respectful classroom environment with consistent behavior management.
• Integrate technology (LMS, smartboards) and promote blended learning.

Lesson Planning & Delivery

• Design engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with MOE and GEMS expectations
• Use of varied teaching strategies to cater to mixed-ability classrooms
• Integration of 21st-century learning skills into lessons

Differentiation & Inclusion

• Adapt teaching methods for native and non-native learners
• Support students of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
• Promote inclusive classroom practices

Assessment & Data Use

• Plan and implement formative and summative assessments
• Analyze student performance data to inform teaching
• Track progress in line with MOE inspection requirements

Classroom Management
