Job summary

International Community Schools (ICS) Al Danah Abu Dhabi seeks an enthusiastic Arabic Teacher A for Cycle 1 (Years 1-3/4) to deliver engaging language instruction under the National Curriculum for England and ADEK standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic or related field, preferably with a PGCE/QTS, and 2+ years of primary Arabic teaching experience in a British curriculum setting. ADEK licensing and UAE work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic or related field; education specialization in Arabic preferred.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS) is highly desirable.
• ADEK license eligibility or holding license required for UAE private schools.
• Native or near-native command of Arabic with strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Plan deliver assess lessons across Cycle 1/Key Stage 1 in a British curriculum setting.
• Monitor and report on student progress; adapt teaching to diverse learners.
• Collaborate with Heads and colleagues to support a cohesive language program.
