Job summary

YOSH, a private luxury property in Abu Dhabi, seeks an Arabic Specialty Chef (Demi Chef de Partie) to join its culinary team. You will prepare, plate and present a wide range of Arabic dishes, support private dining events and maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Under Head and Sous Chefs you will train junior staff, source authentic ingredients, adapt menus for dietary needs and ensure flawless service for bespoke guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary qualification with Arabic/Middle Eastern specialty.
• Proven Demi Chef de Partie experience with Arabic menu sections.
• Strong knowledge of traditional recipes, spice blends, breads, grills and desserts.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP; certifications preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, discreet and independent work.

Responsibilities

• Menu preparation and culinary delivery of Arabic dishes.
• Support kitchen operations with mise en place and portion control.
• Plan and execute private dining and events with bespoke menus.
• Maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene, and record-keeping.
• Source authentic ingredients, manage stock and minimize waste.
• Adapt dishes for halal, dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Ensure presentation meets exacting standards.
• Mentor and develop junior kitchen staff.
