Job summary

Allocation Assist seeks a Specialist Neonatologist (Arabic Speaker) to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality neonatal care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for newborns and families.

The ideal candidate has MBBS and specialist neonatology/pediatrics credentials, DOH licensing, 3–5 years of NICU experience, and fluency in Arabic and English to support diverse patient care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Specialist qualification in Neonatology/Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
• Valid DOH License/Eligibility Letter or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Neonatology.
• Experience working in a NICU and managing critically ill neonates.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for newborn infants, including premature and critically ill neonates.
• Diagnose and manage neonatal medical conditions, congenital disorders, respiratory distress, infections, and neonatal emergencies.
• Deliver care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and newborn nursery.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilization of high‑risk newborns.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Counsel and educate parents regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and international clinical standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.
