Looking to hire a DHA Licensed Female General Practitioner who is proficient in both Arabic and English.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner with a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license to join our team for school clinics in Dubai.

The General Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to students, conducting medical assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, and promoting health education and preventive care within the school community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff in school clinics, addressing a wide range of medical concerns and conditions.
  2. Conduct medical assessments, including physical examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests, to evaluate patient health status and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections, and manage chronic health conditions, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to evidence-based medical guidelines.
  4. Administer vaccinations, medications, and preventive treatments as recommended by public health authorities and school health policies.
  5. Educate students, parents, and school staff about health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, and hygiene practices, fostering a culture of wellness and safety.
  6. Collaborate with school administrators, nurses, counselors, and external healthcare providers to coordinate healthcare services, referrals, and emergency response protocols.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documentation, and reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements and privacy standards.
  8. Participate in school health initiatives, wellness programs, and community outreach activities to promote health awareness and support student well-being.

Qualifications:

  1. Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized medical school.
  2. Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license as a General Practitioner.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of clinical/pediatric experience in general practice or primary care settings.
  4. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills across a broad spectrum of medical conditions.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills both in English as well as Arabic, with the ability to engage with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families.
  6. Commitment to patient-centered care, health promotion, and preventive medicine principles.
  7. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, with flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of school-based healthcare delivery.
  9. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
