International Community Schools (ICS) Al Mushrif, a leading American curriculum school in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Arabic A Teacher to join our academic team for Cycle 1. The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a strong foundation in Arabic language and culture for our native Arabic‑speaking students or those with native‑level proficiency, aligning with US educational standards.
Job Description: Arabic A Teacher - Cycle 1 (American Curriculum)
1. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education with a specialization in Arabic, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Possession of a valid and recognized teaching certification/license from a US state or an equivalent international teaching qualification recognized in the UAE.
- Native or near‑native fluency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in English (written and spoken) for effective communication within an international school environment.
2. Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2‑3 years of full‑time, post‑qualification teaching experience in Arabic Language (Arabic A) to Cycle 1 students (KG1 - Grade 5).
- Proven experience teaching within an American curriculum framework is highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in an international school setting, particularly within the UAE or Gulf region, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire young learners in a culturally diverse classroom environment.
