Job summary

Midea Group in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Junior Accountant - AR to manage receivables, coordinate with the sales team, and support cash flow.

You will monitor distributor balances, post receipts, and maintain AR ledgers; assist month-end closing and provide weekly collections dashboards.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years’ AR experience in consumer appliances or similar, strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and solid communication with HQ AR teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 2–5 years in Accounts Receivable, preferably in consumer appliances, FMCG, or distribution-driven businesses.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Strong coordination and communication with sales and customers.
• Knowledge of distributor reconciliations, credit control, and claims.
• Ability to liaise with HQ Accounting and AR teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track outstanding receivables from distributors and key customers.
• Post receipts, credit notes, and adjustments; maintain AR ledgers.
• Coordinate with sales to collect overdue payments.
• Prepare collection status reports and dashboards; report DSO trends.
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger with the general ledger; assist month-end closing.
• Support audits with AR documentation.
