Job description

Are you experienced in delivering swimming competitions and passionate about creating smooth, professional aquatic events?

Hamilton Aquatics in Dubai is looking for an Aquatics Events Lead to take ownership of the technical and operational delivery of swimming events across the UAE.

In this role, you will lead the planning, setup, and execution of competitions, ensuring flawless timing systems, standard-compliant events, and positive participant experiences. Your responsibilities include managing event equipment and software, supervising the technical team, and collaborating with officials and venues to deliver high-quality, international-standard events.

Key Objectives:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of all ESM & Hamilton Aquatics events, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
• Handle inquiries and communications professionally, representing ESM & Hamilton Aquatics in line with company policies.
• Ensure proper setup, operation, and breakdown of Meet Management software and Automated Officiating Equipment (AOE), troubleshooting as needed.
• Manage and mentor the Events Assistants, delegating tasks and guiding team members.
• Collaborate with the Events Manager to ensure safety regulations are met and assist with administrative duties.
• Identify and implement improvements in event planning and execution to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Work with senior management to align event goals with organizational strategies.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Sports Science or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• 2-3 years in aquatics or swimming events.
• Proficient in Hy-Tek software, Meet Mobile, and AOE systems.

Job-specific Skills:

• Ability to develop partnerships and manage relationships under pressure.
• Knowledge of the sports industry and regional market contacts.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
