Dicetek LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead AWS Data Platform initiatives. You will plan, coordinate and deliver complex data platform programs across engineering, analytics and business stakeholders.

Responsibility includes governance, risk management and executive reporting. The role requires extensive experience delivering data platform, cloud and migration initiatives, preferably in Banking or Financial Services, with strong stakeholder management and agile delivery

Formación

• Senior Project Manager or Delivery lead with experience in complex technology environments.
• Significant experience delivering Data Platform, Data Engineering, Cloud, Migration or Analytics initiatives.
• Banking/Financial Services domain experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS Data Platform projects from planning to production deployment.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
• Manage cross-functional teams of data engineers, cloud engineers, architects and developers.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective executive communication.
• Track status, risks, issues and KPIs; implement mitigation plans.
• Coordinate data migration, integration and modernization across systems.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of AWS Data Platform projects from planning and requirements gathering through implementation and production deployment Define project scope objectives deliverables timelines and resource requirements Manage cross-functional teams including data engineers cloud engineers architects developers and business stakeholders Drive the implementation and enhancement of cloud-based data platforms using AWS services Monitor project progress identify risks and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation plans Manage project schedules budgets resource allocation and delivery milestones Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups backlog grooming and retrospectives Ensure effective communication and coordination between business technology and senior stakeholders Track and report project status key performance indicators risks and issues to leadership Ensure data platform solutions meet requirements for security scalability reliability and performance Coordinate data migration integration and modernization activities across multiple systems Support the adoption of data governance data quality and security standards Manage third-party vendors and technology partners where applicable Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes project governance and operational efficiency

AWS Data Platform Knowledge

• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services used for data platforms such as strong Amazon S3 AWS Glue Amazon Redshift Amazon EMR Amazon Athena and AWS Lambda strong Experience with data lakes data warehouses ETL ELT pipelines and large-scale data integration Familiarity with data orchestration and workflow management tools Understanding of data governance security access management and compliance requirements within AWS environments Knowledge of cloud architecture scalability high availability and disaster recovery principles

• Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, with the ability to establish appropriate delivery structures and maintain high standards of delivery hygiene.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines and managing complex cross-team dependencies.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to apply the appropriate approach to the initiative.
• Ability to challenge delivery teams constructively and establish realistic commitments based on scope, dependencies and available capacity.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex delivery issues into clear executive-level messages and decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Ability to operate effectively in environments with multiple competing priorities and constrained resources.
• Sufficient understanding of data and technology delivery to effectively manage technical teams, dependencies and risks.

Required Experience / Knowledge Areas

• Specific domain or industry knowledge required
• Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager, Senior Delivery Lead or Programme Delivery professional within complex technology environments.
• Demonstrable experience delivering Data Platform, Data Engineering, Cloud, Data Migration or Analytics initiatives.
• Strong experience within Banking or Financial Services preferred
• Experience managing initiatives involving multiple business and technology functions
• Experience managing projects containing architecture, engineering, data migration, testing, security, infrastructure and business-readiness dependencies
• Experience operating within formal technology governance and change-management environments
• Demonstrable experience managing senior stakeholders, sponsors and Steering Committees
• Experience managing third-party, vendor or contractor delivery where applicable
