Job summary

NOV, a global oil and gas company, seeks an Application Engineer to provide technical bid support and ensure NOV products are applied within design and performance specs. The role includes governance, training, and coordinating with Sales, Proposals, and Operations to resolve complex technical and commercial challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Engineering experience on international projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of composites and fiberglass piping systems.
• Experience performing hydraulic analysis and engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements to ensure products are applied within safe and specified limits.
• Collaborate with Sales and Proposals to resolve technical issues.
• Drive efficiency improvements to reduce lead times and improve deliverable quality.
• Ensure bid-stage commitments are executable by Operations.
• Review RFQs and propose technically compliant product solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on codes, standards and product selection.
• Deliver technical training to employees, distributors, and customers.
• Visit project sites to resolve technical issues and strengthen customer relationships.
