Overview

Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering simulation solutions provider in Dubai UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced Application Engineer Ansys Granta to support customers in the implementation of the Ansys Granta MI platform, a software solution for enterprise-level materials information data management.

The ideal candidate will engage with customers to facilitate enterprise material discovery, development engineering and organization, while integrating material usage into the product development process. They will analyze pain points, assess current and future workflows and evaluate organizational ROI to propose technology-driven solutions. Additionally, the role involves scoping, prioritization and documentation to optimize enterprise systems interconnectivity and material data management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the coordination of all technical activities throughout the sales process including identifying customer needs in material informatics, material discovery, development engineering challenges and pain points.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements, assess the customer’s existing infrastructure, workflows and operations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate the value of ANSYS solutions encompassing its full suite of products including mechanical, fluid, electrical, electronics, optical and system-level simulations.
  • Provide prompt and high-quality post-sales technical support via email and online meetings to ensure customer success.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including sales, technical support, project management, implementation engineers and end users to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
  • Background in industries utilizing ANSYS such as aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, defense, energy, medical or oil and gas. Prior experience with Ansys Granta MI or similar material management systems.
  • Strong proficiency in office automation software including Excel; familiarity with Python, MATLAB or other programming languages; knowledge of database applications.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to convey complex technical and business concepts effectively. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining clear and effective communication with customers.
  • Passionate about technical excellence and high performance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
