Job summary

DiceTek UAE is seeking an API QA Automation Engineer responsible for designing and executing API testing strategies for enterprise technology projects in Dubai. This role emphasizes headless API testing, CI/CD integration, and ensuring high system performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Postman and ReadyAPI, along with solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines. The position offers competitive compensation in the UAE tech sector.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Postman and ReadyAPI for API testing.
• Proficiency in RESTful services, JSON structures, and API validation techniques.
• Experience working with GIT for version control and code repository management.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins automation processes.
• Experience in writing test cases, preparing test data, and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and obtain review and signoff from project stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed test design documents, test scripts, and define test data requirements.
• Coordinate business review and secure approval for test cases and test data prior to execution.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, document results, and log defects in tracking systems.
• Prepare and distribute UAT execution status reports to business and technical stakeholders.
