Job summary

DICETEK LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced API Management specialist for a contract role focused on banking APIs and core banking transformations. The candidate will administer API gateways, onboard modular banking APIs, implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS and policy controls, and manage versions, products and subscriptions with strong emphasis on observability and monetisation.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years in banking API management.
• Experience with a major core banking or digital banking transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Kong, Apigee, or Azure API Management.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, OAuth and OIDC.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Git, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Administer API gateways and developer portals; onboard and publish modular banking APIs; manage API versions, products, subscriptions and lifecycle.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, JWT and policy controls; enable observability, analytics, throttling and monetisation.
• Automate platform configuration and use AI-assisted engineering for policy generation, troubleshooting and documentation.

Required Experience

6-10+ years in banking API management; experience in a major core banking or digital banking transformation; working knowledge of BIAN APIs and banking service domains; hands-on experience with Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management or equivalent; knowledge of OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, OAuth, OIDC, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and approved AI engineering tools.
