Al-Futtaim invites applications for a Cost Control, Accounts Payable and Reporting Specialist based in Dubai. You will ensure accurate cost booking, process invoices and manage vendor accounts while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

The role emphasizes DO/GRIR ageing, open-item review, and collaboration with Finance, IT and Shared Service teams to implement automation and AI-driven improvements in cost control and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years in accounts payable, cost control, or related financial role.
• Experience with SAP and workflow automation tools.
• Ability to analyse data and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Book costs accurately and process invoices following policies.
• Coordinate with central finance for timely liability booking.
• Review DO/DOI and identify missing invoices for timely cost recognition.
• Resolve discrepancies and manage monthly batch payment run.
• Adhere to Delegation of Authority in payments and cost-booking.
• Maintain vendor ageing and GR/IR ageing reports.
• Review open purchase orders and support project closure.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and Shared Services to automate processes.
