Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Anesthesia Technology from a recognized university.
• DOH license as Anesthesia Technologist / Technician to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist / Technician in a multispecialty hospital facility.
• Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic language skills are advantageous but not essential.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification and Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist attending anesthesiologists, residents and nurse anesthetists in anesthesia procedures.
• Prepare anesthetizing locations, set up and calibrate monitoring devices, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Stock anesthesia supplies, obtain labs and blood products, and support infection control guidelines.
• Provide education, mentorship, and role-modeling for anesthesia technicians and team members.
• Assist with emergency procedures and participate in safety and PI activities.
