Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Anesthesia Technologist/Technician for placement in Abu Dhabi. You will support anesthesia teams by preparing rooms, calibrating monitors, and assisting with airway management and line placement, ensuring sterility and infection control throughout procedures.

The role requires 3–4 years of experience, a valid DOH license to work in the UAE, and strong English communication. Arabic is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid DOH license to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Bachelor's or Diploma in Anesthesia Technology from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as an anesthesia technologist/technician.
• Valid home country license and registration as an anesthesia technologist/technician.
• English language fluency; Arabic helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Consult Operating Room schedule to determine supply and equipment needs for procedures.
• Prepare anesthetizing locations and calibrate monitoring devices.
• Assist anesthesia providers with sterile technique during procedures including IV/arterial access.
• Assist with airway management techniques and regional anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vital signs and alert providers to abnormal changes.
• Maintain and stock anesthesia supplies in all anesthetizing locations.
• Ensure infection control and OSH compliance across units.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in PI activities.
