Job summary

NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi seeks an Anesthetic Technician to prepare anesthesia equipment, administer IV meds under supervision, and assist with airway management. You will monitor patient status, support intraoperative procedures, and ensure safe transfer to post-anesthesia care.

The role requires an Anesthetic Technician certificate, a current Dubai/ UAE license, and at least two years of post-qualification experience with fluent English. Arabic is a plus for effective patient communication.

Qualifications

• Anesthetic Technician certificate is required.
• Current license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check and set up anesthetic machines.
• Prepare IV drugs under supervision of an anesthetist.
• Prepare IV therapy equipment and airway devices.
• Monitor patient condition and anesthesia depth during procedures.
• Induce and maintain anesthesia under supervision.
• Transfer patients to post-anesthesia care units.
